Kayanna Brow-Hendrickson, known professionally as Kayanna, is a talented singer and songwriter from Tallahassee, FL. From an early age, she embraced music as a powerful means of self-expression and creativity. Her journey into music started at 13, and her ability to craft unique sounds and lyrics only deepened over time.Growing up in a musical household, Kayanna was exposed to a variety of genres, all of which influenced her distinct sound. Her experiences in both a friend/family band and the school chorus allowed her to hone her vocal abilities and develop her artistry. However, Kayanna refuses to be confined to a single genre. She believes in evolving her sound and often says, “Yes, I have a sound that you will usually hear from me, but to say I will stay complacent with one sound would be a disservice to my musical capabilities.”For Kayanna, music is more than just a passion—it’s a tool for emotional expression. Her songwriting is a reflection of her vulnerability, as she seeks to convey feelings that might be difficult to express otherwise. Through her art, she aims to create songs that resonate with her listeners, offering both healing and connection.Her journey continues to unfold as she embraces the art of storytelling through music, using her voice to communicate and inspire in ways that only she can.
